What Parents Say About GVS

Dear Teacher Vanessa,
Denise Jane H. Reyes

-GVS Parent for 4 years
(Her daughter Dana was enrolled from Junior Kinder to incoming Gr.2)

I have been meaning to send you an email for quite sometime now but never actually gone around to it. Honestly, I do not have the desire to transfer my daughter, Danielle Jane, to another school. My family has been planning to move to another area within Paranaque which might greatly affect the proximity of the school from where the new address would be. Since the plan has been put on hold (and even if it would push through this year) I still wish to enroll her in GVS where my profound trust lies in your ability to hone my daughters skills, values and potential as what you've been doing right from the beginning.

I am always amazed at everything that Dana has accomplished from being the shy little "baby" when I enrolled her in your school for the first time at age 3 to bagging 1st honors recently! I am just so proud knowing that I am so far away from her and yet she manages to do great in school, a huge thanks, in part to you.

I know the next school year is quite near now. I hope we are not too late in enrolling her. I would just like to request the full amount of the tuition and the installment program too, if possible. That is if you would still accept her for 2nd grade for SY 2006-07.

Well, c'est la vie, as the French would say.
Anyway, I am sending the money to cover for her tuition tomorrow. I look forward to receiving the quotation soon.

My great appreciation for your unwavering support and dedication to all your students.

More power to you, to all the staff and branches of GVS!

Dear Teacher Vanessa,

Re: Daryl Sng

Mr. and Mrs. Sng

-GVS parent for 9 years
(Their son Daryl was enrolled from Junior Kinder to Gr.6)

We are pleased to inform you that Daryl has successfully passed his entrance exam for Grade 7 at Colegio de San Agustin and his entrance exam for first year high school at Don Bosco Technical Institute. Daryl himself has decided to enroll in the latter for the forth coming school year, June 2004.

This letter serves to inform Golden Values School, that this would be Daryl's last semester. We would like to thank you and all the teachers who were involved in teaching and guiding Daryl through his past nine years academically as well as guiding him through his growing up years. You have all been a very dedicated group of teachers under the very experience and guidance of Mr. and Mrs. BOB GARON. It is always sad for us, Daryl and you as teachers whom we have all grown attached to that the time has come when Daryl has to move on. We wish to express our appreciation and sincere thanks to yourself, the teachers of the school and Mr. and Mrs. BOB GARON for looking after our son. We know that it is not easy to handle children but you all did your best especially to you being the administrative head and daughter of the owner of the school. We are very grateful and appreciative to the kindness, patience, consideration, hard work and most of all the love you have given not only to him but to the other children as well. Thank you and congratulations to such a fine and dedicated team!

Dear Ms. Garon,

Camille B. Buenaventura
-GVS parent for 11 years
(Her daughter Francine was enrolled from Junior Kinder to incoming 2nd year)

The school year is about to end and it wouldn't be complete if I will not write a commendation letter to the GVS faculty in Pasig. My way of thanking them for a job well done.

This school year is indeed one of the challenging if not the most challenging year GVS has experienced. Being a "veteran" parent and a part of the family, I could only emphasize with the GVS management.

Though faced with challenges, the day-to-day operation of the school, particularly in Pasig wasn't sacrificed because of the following people and for making learning an enjoyable experience for my daughter:

Ms. Dancel - as a parent, I could easily talk to her and she attends to my queries immediately. She makes it a point that all concerns were attended to promptly. For the children, my hats off to her. My daughter would tell me what transpired in school and I can't imagine how she was able to handle all the issues. As in the past, she was able to balance being a disciplinarian and a friend to the children.

Ms. Gadiani - for the past ten months, Francine enjoyed her company and loves talking to her since she's always fun to talk with. She enjoyed attending to her class because she makes learning easy.

Ms. Blanquisa - Francine was so thankful when she became their English teacher. Because of her, Francine would read books even if it is not a requirement in school. Her vocabulary improved a lot.

Mrs. Lozada - this school year, she got better grades in Algebra because of Mrs. Lozada's patience and determination for her students to learn the subject matter.

Ms. Esplana - Francine would call her as the teacher with the dynamic personality. She would be strict if the situation calls for it and can really be funny at times. Her method of teaching encourages the students to be creative and participative.

To the other teachers of GVS Pasig for giving us parents good entertainment during school programs for attending to the needs of the children and for being so patient, I can't thank you enough.
